Window sales & installation

Window replacement and installation in Winston-Salem, NC

We sell and install replacement windows for homes across the area. That covers measuring your existing openings, helping you choose a window that suits the room, removing the old unit, and finishing the opening so it looks like it was always there.

What the work covers

  • On-site measuring of every opening before anything is ordered
  • Help choosing window styles and operation that suit each room
  • Removal and disposal of the existing windows
  • Installation, sealing, and insulation of the new units
  • Interior and exterior trim made good after installation
  • Clean-up and a walkthrough of how each window operates

Your options

Window styles

Double-hung, casement, slider, picture, and specialty shapes are all common replacement choices. We talk through which style fits the room, how you want it to open, and how you plan to clean it.

Full-frame vs insert replacement

An insert replacement keeps the existing frame when it is sound. A full-frame replacement takes the opening back to the structure and is the right call when there is rot or water damage. We tell you which one your opening needs after we look at it.

Comfort and daylight

Replacement windows are usually about comfort first: fewer draughts, less noise, easier operation, and rooms that feel brighter. We will not quote performance ratings for a product until it has been specified for your project.

What affects planning and cost

We do not publish prices, because a renovation price that ignores the actual space is a guess. These are the things that genuinely move the number on this kind of project.

  • The number and size of openings, and whether any are non-standard
  • Whether the existing frames are sound or need full-frame replacement
  • Access — upper floors and awkward elevations take longer
  • Interior finishes around the opening and how much making good is needed
  • Lead time on the units you choose, which we confirm when you order

How the project runs

  1. 1

    Measure and specify

We visit, measure each opening, and go through the options with you before anything is ordered.

  2. 2

    Order and schedule

Once the units are confirmed we book your installation dates around the delivery.

  3. 3

    Install and finish

Old windows come out, new units go in and get sealed, trim is made good, and we clear up as we go.
